Rep Ball - AA Mississauga Baseball Association (MBA)

Try Outs: Try-outs are held in September/October immediately following the end of baseball season. When you choose (and are chosen) to play MBA baseball, you are playing at a AA level. MBA AA baseball bridges house league and OBA AAA level play. After fall try-outs have taken place, some teams may still be looking for players. Eligibility: Baseball.

Winter Training: MBA teams have training programs, conducting indoor winter training from January to May of the playing year.

Tournaments: MBA teams average between 1-3 weekend tournaments per season. Speak with your coach before making any commitments to ensure you share the same perspective on your child’s baseball commitment.

League Games: MBA teams average approximately 20 games per season.

Practices: MBA teams average one practice per week.

Fundraising: Required, but not usually as extensive as at the OBA level due to the reduced number of tournaments and extent of winter training, there is an expectation of team fundraising activities by the parents & players.
